Warranty And Return Policy
Warranty And Return Policy
No Refund Policy
We have a strict No Refund Policy as part of our Warranty And Return Policy.
Warranty And Return Policy
To be eligible for a return, your item must remain uninstalled, unused, and exactly as you received it. Our Warranty And Return Policy ensures you get clear guidelines for returns and exchanges.
Warranty Policy
CATA Electronics offers a limited 1-year warranty on all products from the purchase date. We stand behind our products against defects in workmanship and materials. Only the original purchaser enjoys this warranty, and you cannot transfer it to others.
THIS WARRANTY COVERS:
- Computers that show no signs of burns, abuse, water damage, or tampering.
- We provide one year of valid repairs or exchanges on the current ECM.
- ECMs must have intact security seals and must not be opened or worked on.
- All cores and warrantied ECMs must be repairable. They should communicate properly and show no physical damage such as burns, water, or oil infiltration to qualify for core fee refunds.
- ECM core part numbers must match the purchased ECM for core fee refunds and warranty activation.
- You must present the core for warranty services.
Warranty Exclusions
However, our Warranty And Return Policy does not cover certain conditions:
- We do not cover damage from extended wiring or short circuits.
- Programming, calibration, or flashing of the ECM is excluded.
- We exclude damages from external sources, wiring problems, or any labor, towing, or work done by other repair shops.
- Labor, towing costs, or damages resulting from outside repairs are not covered.
Resolution of Disputes
If you face a dispute with CATA Electronics, we always work to resolve it quickly and fairly. Our Warranty And Return Policy follows Texas state law and only applies to agreements within Texas.
All disputes must be settled in Tarrant County, Grand Prairie, Texas. By accepting our Policy, you submit to the jurisdiction of Texas courts for any and all claims.
Limits of Liability
Our Warranty And Return Policy limits liability strictly to ECM repair or replacement, at our discretion. We do not cover any indirect or consequential damages. Additionally, we exclude towing, labor, or replacement costs for other vehicle parts.
Warranty Claim Procedure
If you have a problem within the warranty period, please follow these steps:
- Contact us right away to report the issue.
- Provide your invoice number, purchase date, and vehicle details.
- We will send you instructions for returning your item.
- Once we receive your ECM, we will inspect it to confirm it qualifies under the Warranty And Return Policy.
If your claim meets the requirements, we will repair or exchange your ECM as outlined in the Warranty And Return Policy.
