Typically, this information is retrieved directly from your core ECM. If your ECM core is unavailable or non-functional, we request you contact your truck’s authorized dealer. Provide them with your Engine Serial Number, and they will supply the necessary details for programming your replacement module. Essential programming information includes Make, Model, Part Number, Engine Serial Number, rear axle ratio, tire size, transmission type (manual or automatic), presence of an A/C switch on the dash, and whether the vehicle is equipped with jake brakes.
